Don't know much about Gretar Steinsson, any good?

Tall centre-back and right-back, good company for Siggy

Wouldn't touch Reo-Coker. Bit of a bad egg in my opinion. And nonse's around with his Luis Vuitton bag like he owns the place (saw him on a plane once and looked like he was sucking lemons, tutting at the riff-raff going into the affordable seats). He's not exactly set the world alight playing neither. The move of his to release himself from his contract smacks of arrogance and non-allegiance. Bit of a mediocre mercenary?

Jaskellainen as backup is a yes from me.

Jaskellainen may not want to be a number two. I'm not convinced Reo whatsit is better than what we have either.

Btw: Similar thread on the Cardiff board. Someone said they "don't fancy" any of those players either. <laugh>

Oh they really think they're special don't they.

Just read Zat Knight is Leon Knight's cousin, never knew that.
He would add needed height (6ft 6) and is experienced.
Downside, as well as the shared 'crazy gene', at 31 bit too long in the tooth to be expected to pick up on the way we play?
Not sure about his pace. Has got England caps though.

The difference being KJ we have to consider the people who would want to play in the Championship. The players mentioned here are the few who are PL quality and out of our league - so to speak.

That's not the way I read it, DP. "Don't fancy" means "don't want them" doesn't it?

I'd take a fit again Stuart Holden. He's been forgotten about due to his season long injury but he's undoubtedly a great player.
