Six games in , and the doom and gloom mongers arrive, lighten up, the season has a long way to go. if Bruce had not depleted [ only in my opinion ] the war chest by signing crap [ and lots of em], things might well be different. so keep the faith. or **** OFF. Your choice.
Personally I thought the game was going OK on Saturday until Johnson went off and their left side took over in his absence. My biggest concern is McClean who seems to be sticking too rigidly to the touchline. If he could make runs inside Rose and Colback could work in more space and create room for McC around the area, once he is inside he can do more damage. Without the benefit of replay or slowmo I thought Cuellar had Tevez offside but the other Sunderland played him which led to the first goal. Football hinges around these events but do not make a season.

I don't give a toss how much MON spent.....simple fact is that we have not been performing. I think we have the players to have an impact this season, everyone seemed of the same opinion at the start of the season. We need to start producing the goods with the squad we have. Now that may be tactics, formation, positional changes, starting line up changes....that's MON's job but it remains that we cannot keep playing the way we have been, we are under performing...simple! Bit of pride, boys..........

you know, I racked y brains trying to think of money Sunderland had brought in this summer, and totally forgot about Gyan Can't see you losing to us, we haven't won away this year and nothing about our play suggests that will change any time soon. Can't see more than 1 goal in this game, I'd take a bore draw now.
yes you are right we are not performing and we need to get our act together sharply yes it is early season and we have missed the first home game and that makes us on catch up a may have looked a bit better if we had played that game but all said and done we played poor against ciity and need to improve

The reality is that we are in the position we should be in with our current squad. If MON can't get them motivated that is a concern, but we'll just have to see. If they do improve then Great, but until we get 1 high quality c midfielder with presence and ability, plus a pacy striker I'm not expecting much this season.
We have a better squad than when MON took over the reigns...we should be performing better with this team!
We've been **** for 17 consecutive league games though, & considering Fletch has settled straight in, Cuellar also before injury, that means all the bedding in talk only relates to AJ. Whatever spin you put on it , the team is underperforming bar JOS, Rose, Mig & Fletch.
