Every reserve game the lads either on the scoresheet or has an assist, was very impressed when he came on in our pre season friendly against west brom the other season and would love to see him get a call up to the first team, I think he got 2 againt the gas today, don't know if he got any assists but surely he's done enough to earn a call up
I said the same thing last season. I dont see why players like Neil Kilkenny are needed as I think Reid could be a better player. Reid again isnt the biggest of players but having seen him play a few times his passing ability is amazing and could be that creative player we are missing. However like most youngsters before him he will get over looked and never given a chance. Why players like James Wilson are likely to be leaving. People talk about how great Wilfried Zaha is at such a young age but would people be talking about him if it wasnt for Palace bringing through a number of youngsters and giving them a chance. Maybe if they had money they would have bought players and these players wouldnt have had their chances.
Ive been banging the drum about Reid for 2 years now, but I think not only is McDel a better judge than me, he trains the guy and puts the team together so I go with his opinion
I would put him on the bench in preference to older more experienced members of the squad and definitely in front of the gobby Aussie!
Its a shame about Kilkenny because when he doesn't sit back and he tries to make chances he's a great player, but not consistent enough, so for that reason give Reid a run in the first team
