Not a lot of ordinary fans will know about him but this guy was old school Charlton, anybody who was a regular at Sparrows Lane will know him, in fact I can't remember being at the training ground without him being there.

Physically he was not a big man but personality wise he was massive, always smiling, always willing to greet, nothing was too much trouble for him in helping out Charlton.

    Will be sadly missed.

    Condolences to his family

I was very sad upon hearing this yesterday. When I was younger he would always take me to meet my hero's. And Dennis Reommedahl.

For a while it was tradition to receive a match worn, signed Charlton shirt every Christmas. The tag said from mum and dad, but I knew it was Bob who sorted it.
