I dont know how many times i have to mention this But the trust can be as angry as it wants but the trust is really a nonentity part of the club and will never be informed about anything major ever, They cant even do anything with the shares that is in name only and can be taken away from the trust at any time the club wishes........I left the trust because it is not what i thought the trust was for and it's nothing really at the end of the day....

I posted this over the week end...

I can understand there are questions about his past but they are private matters which we all have.. I myself dont like him for the way he let Wales down in our hour of need but it wont stop me from backing him as manager as he has a wealth of experience of working in management as No2 and he has worked with the best manager ever imo. Out of the names mentioned then i would want Giggs but i have a sneaky feeling that the yanks will bring in their own people and Bradley will get the job....

I caught a bit of Brad Friedel on 5 Live driving home tonight..His view, maybe US biased of course, was that this was a good appointment. Brad is an extremely bright guy and an excellent communicator - probably what swung it his way. He will play a style of football which will be more direct but not long ball - so Llorente and Baston will be pleased if it is.

Apparently the word is that the other candidates didn't 'interview' as well as Brad with Paul Clement being the closest candidate to Brad.

Will we be playing with a designated hitter and a tight end from now on?

I found a good documentary on Bradley worth a watch. Makes me feel a little bit better. I think the guy deserves a break and support. You can't blame the guy for taking the job and the circumstances surrounding the club.

    New Swansea boss Bob Bradley

    Comments (1)
SWANSEA city today announced that American Bob Bradley will be their new manager following the dismissal of Italian Francesco Guidolin.

Bradley will arrive from France, where he has been in charge of second division side Le Havre, but the 58-year-old father of three made his name in charge of the USA national side.

Here, we look at the new man at the helm at the Liberty.

Did Bradley have much of a playing career?
Not really. He played college football for university-based Princeton Tigers before moving into coaching at the age of 22.

    So what happened then?
His first taste of managerial life came at the helm of a University team called Ohio Bobcats, then it was back to Princeton Tigers. He won league titles at that level, impressing enough to earn a break into professional Major League Soccer where he took the reins of DC United, Chicago Fire, MetroStars and Chivas United.

Bradley led Chicago to the MLS League and Cup double and was named coach of the year in 1998. He also took MetroStars to a cup final for the first time in their history. In one year in California, Bradley guided Chivas USA to the Western Conference play-offs.

    What about the US team?

Bradley sings the national anthem before USA's World Cup clash against Algeria in 2010

Bradley began his five-year tenure in charge of his national team in 2006, chosen ahead of German great Jurgen Klinsmann, who was to be installed in the post five years later.

This is where Bradley began to establish himself as a name to be reckoned with in the world game as the USA started to soar up the FIFA rankings.

They won the CONCACAF Gold Cup, the North American version of the Copa America, beating Mexico 2-1 in the final. That qualified them for the 2009 Confederations Cup in South Africa and there the US made a major statement of their progress. They scraped past Italy in the group stages before shocking Euro 2008 winners Spain 2-0 in the semi-final. USA went on to meet a star-studded Brazil in the Johannesburg final and threatened another shock when they led 2-0. But, Brazil ultimately showed their class and triumphed 3-2.

In 2010, again in South Africa, the USA topped a World Cup pool containing Fabio Capello's England - who they drew with 1-1 - Slovenia and Algeria. They narrowly lost to Ghana in extra-time in the last 16.

Well we have taken an American gamble. If that was the plan I may have preferred a really left field appointment and gone for David Wagner at Huddersfield. He has them playing some good stuff this season.

Makes for an interesting read, thanks for posting it. I'm going to give this guy a chance, Guido always seemed a little timid for my liking, i think the players need a boot up the ass and i reckon bradders could be the one to dish it out. I can't imagine Bradley putting up with what Taylor did after getting subbed. Let's see how he does before we talk relegation

Now that I have calmed down I feel we should give him a chance and am looking forward to seeing what he can do. Ithink it is time for the negativity to stop and positiivity to take over.

I'm enjoying the mentions of USA's Quarter-Final defeat to Ghana in WC2010, what a game that was. Ghana were also responsible for stopping Egypt getting to the World Cup in 2014 when Bob was in charge, so perhaps good that Andre Ayew has moved on!!! As underwhelmed as I am with Bradley's appointment, I think we dodged a bullet in giggs, apparently he had nicky butt lined up as assisstant. One thing you have to give Bradley credit for is his bravery in living in Egypt when he did, and staying on and being outspoken regarding the Port Said disaster. Not sure it will count for much, but I'm starting to feel slightly more positive about the appointment, we have no choice as Jacks but to back him really.

Made me feel better too Swanee good post <ok>

Seems a decent kind of guy, either way we should let the team kick a ball for a couple of games to see how we go. Also we, I know I do, need to put the last year or so behind us get back to supporting the team
