  1. It's ok leave it.

Sorry everyone but I've got to be honest and say this new banner is doing my head in.

    Bad points:
The GFC bit is not really working with the transparent white background.
The only time you really see the GFC is if you hit F5 to refresh.
    Mainly staring at News advertising
Looking at the underside of the roof.

    Good points:
The customary flag is in the top right hand corner.
    The badge is positioned ok.
    That's it really.

IMO we've tried it and it don't work - then again it's not up to me, so just wondered if I can get some opinions from you lot?

Mighty has tried to brighten the pic up for us, so have a look and see what you think, he has manually entered the words Rainham End under the roof, with a bit of tarty sparkle here and there <laugh>...

Sorry mighty, it was a good try and thanks for all the work but for me it needs more ***********

It could be we need something completely new or just steal the lettering of something like this.

Any chance of the the words "Rainham End" which is directly above the GFC being remove? It doesn't seem necessary. Other than that it works for me. One vote for Mighty.

If you remove the rainham end from just above the GFC then it's what we already have ?

    Is this a whoosh:emoticon-0111-blush

grumpy - your spot on <ok>

That is a distant shot of what we already have, unfortunately when you close in for a banner, you end up under the roof!

What would be ideal for us, is if the white/transparent bit at the top could be removed, I have already asked if this can be done.
However, it drew a blank response, so I guess the answer is no, hence why I'm back at the drawing board.

Ok guys, I'm getting bored with this now.

So I have asked the administrator if he can do something to pull our board banner from under the roof?
Stating the white/transparent background does not bode well with our banner.
I have also submitted mighty's picture to him, to see what he can sort out.

I just hope this does not all go horribly wrong <doh>

Ok - the administrator has just got back to me and said...

It's only 600 pixels wide mate, the smallest picture I can accept is 1800 pixels wide - and you just can't use a picture editor to stretch it as that will look distorted, it needs to be at least natively 1800 pixels wide.

    ..................................................

Help us out people, anyone got any other ideas?

Millens - has to be 1800 pix min wide.

Check image via firefox, right click, image info.

I leave mighty or loiner to do the edit bit.
