Nathan Blissett admits his form for Bristol Rovers of late hasn’t been up to scratch but says winning is all that matters as the club enter their last nine Vanarama Conference games. The striker, who has netted five goals since moving from Kidderminster, last scored in the 2-0 win over Lincoln but has struggled to find form in recent victories over Grimbsy, Altrincham, Braintree and Gateshead. Blissett said: “The last month my form hasn’t been the best that I like it to be. The wins have really covered that up for myself, I think a win will crack over any performance. I’m happy at the minute with where we are and how we’re doing - opposed to my form in particular. I mean in terms of when I was here at the start, where everything was going in for me, to now where it’s a lot harder and the conditions of the game dictate the way I have to play. But I will take that if that’s what we need to do to win games.” Blissett on Harrison: “I’m very pleased for him. He’s obviously not been playing as much as he’d like to but he’s equipped himself well to come off the bench and score two great goals. Ellis will say himself that he’s chuffed for the boys as long as we win, even if he doesn’t play. He’s an open character in that sense and the boys love him here. I’m happy for him to just get a bit of the limelight.”
