One has to wonder if the events of the last 24 hours regarding the transparency of information regarding South Africa and $10m has started to tingle the nerve ends? and a person so close as well!

Now it all has to happen again, and that could be fun..

( think he actually read my post about the alternative world cup! :emoticon-0140-rofl: :emoticon-0170-ninja

He was a poisoned chalice and had to go. Interesting to see the FIFA pep ads being shown during the Under 20 World Cup in New Zealand are all about them caring about their image and their commitment to fair play - blah blah blah!

This really gets worse by the day.
Something has spooked FIFA and Blatter in particular.
There should be a new ballot for the next 2 World Cups.
If not, then UEFA should boycott the Russian and Qatar World Cups.

Platini was a very vocal supporter of the Qatar world cup bid and they are heavily involved as supporters of french football and PSG, he may get entangled in the fallout yet!

Some of the African nations will see him as the reason for Blatters downfall too.

the prince did quite well? he seemed a positive level headed person
    ginola is another
when will be the next vote as I bet there will be a number of "reps" very wary of going anywhere at the moment outside of their comfort zone

reading all the rumours and following the still unfolding story and worries raised about a new vote still potentially being unfair due to Asia and Africa maybe before a vote can be taken the whole system should be revamped, or FIFA left to die a death.
Can you go by the countries population ? already it has been pointed out that somewhere like the Bahamas POP 56,000 has as much say as GERMANY ITALY BRAZIL etc pop 56,000,000 or more!
I don't think this would be exactly fair as how would you say Bahamas get 1 vote and Italy etc say 2 /3 /4 etc whatever.

Maybe the world cup rankings should be the key the top 32 teams at the world cup get 4 votes? The next 32 get 3 votes, the next 64 get 2 votes and all the rest (81) 1 vote.

The organization has income, so a proportion of that is for development and the bottom 81 should be first to apply for aid... each application should be treated on its merits and the whole of the organization should have a vote from time to time to award the money. each year the "pot" should be declared say £6m/ £60m... and after a successful award nothing for 4 years.

EG TONGA needs a state of the art training facility costing £2m so they apply for aid, each country ( 208 ) answer a 2 question ballot

yes or no and the second question if majority says yes how much would you award. ( have a minimum of say 5% , £100k ) add it all up and divide by 209 yes 209 not 208! total could be something like £130m so /209 = around £625,000.
from 81 countries there maybe 40 who are "yes" so awards would be apportioned /held over.
just remember the people working in FIFA are paid, as are the peeps like the country reps so a bit of honest work would not do any harm!
    anyone else got any ideas?

And France voted for Blatter to stay as well, plus Platini's son is president of PSG.

Yep I can see Platini as the next president of FIFA

that would be a disaster we are at the moment unfortunately still in a situation with those that voted for SPLATTER will be canvassed by SPLATTER to vote for who he says!
bear in mind the mindset of the Africa and Asia reps are ...... ..... "loyalty because " HE" gave us money, not FIFA gave us money" Will that change? not if SPLATTER says so and so is likely to be kind to your cause?!
