It was DIRE! I touched the ball more than Virgo and I was at the back of the stand! WTF! Total shambles first half ... managed to watch till the hour mark and decided I'd had enough ... I know we got injury problems but ... NE is our best GK! Both our best central defenders were playing, Patterson played LB last season, so in defence the only weakness was the RB. Midfield was a joke and as for Virgo - he should NEVER put a ROVERS shirt on again in my opinion. Sorry was hoping for something positive after Saturday, but we were outplayed out muscled out everything ... NOT A HAPPY GASHEAD!
Disgraceful result. I didnt go, thankfully, but I expect us to play better than we did. According to stats we had 60% possession, 6 shots all game with only 1 on target! **** sake that is crap!! Wimbledon only had 40% of the ball and had 17 shots, with 8 on target so that tells you!! If we don't sort it out and fast, we could well end up in a relegation battle come the end of the season.
I've got no faith in MM he seems to be clueless IMO, 2-0 down after 20 mins last night and he does **** all about until half time and how all the tossers (sorry but they get on my tits) on the official forum keep praising him is beyond me.

its all mistakes but i can see why some would say only 1 mistake..... lund has been good at RB, richards knows how to play RW, clarkson looks good at CM, wayne brown good enough to play LW. which leaves virgo who should not be up front. virgo should not be on the flipping pitch full stop. but now stupid parkes got sent off i guess virgo gets a game at CD this weekend.
I think a lot will depend on GK - if he is unfit then god knows who we got. If GK is fit then I would opt for a youngster. We have heard so much about our youngsters - but where are they??? Wheres Clucas? You only have to look at that young guy at Liverpool Rahim Sterling (I think) - he's only 17 - but he's good enough. I know Ros Staley (spelling??) looked good in pre-season - is he out injured?? JP could go in the middle - sorry Mr Virgo but after Tuesday nights display I don't wish to see you in a Rovers shirt again - nothing personal - you just ain't got it anymore!
In all fairness to him he played up front on Tuesday and that is not his "natural" position so I wont judge him on that game. However, he is **** in defence as well and therefore he shouldn't play. The new Danny Coles....Get the ball and hump it out of play or up to our little striker, run like a tank and not good enough in the air.... He doesnt bring anything to the team and that is a shame. He obviously had talent once, but now he is well past it and needs to be moved on.
