Fair result. Blackpool the better team overall. City sterile and ceded too much possession first half; the constant passing it around the back before a hopeful punt up top was depressing. The problems City have were so apparent: 1. The lack of a driving midfielder- Vaulks is non league standard makes us such a weaker team 2. The back 5 is ok but without a link between them and the midfield it’s pointless half the time. 3. The lack of a winger means there’s no real chance of a 4-4-2. The top 2 teams Fulham & Bournemouth play with a back 4.
Probably up there with the worst referee performance of the season. I wondered why he had done so few games this season. Today showed why. He disgraced the word clueless. So bad, both sets of fans hated him by the end. The name is Bond, Brook Bond. I'll give him a PG Tip, sod off.
Bad for both teams but from where I was sitting it looked a nailed on pen on the best player on the pitch (that scruffy bloke with an Alice band).
Agreed Nin, but the little twerp let so much go and/or made the wrong decision. He completely lost control at one point when Flint got booked. Also, one of theirs stayed down after a tough but fair tackle, he stopped play. Isaak Davies got hacked in the centre circle, he waved play on and we were effectively down to 10 players for their following attack. Either he made no decision or made completely wrong ones, the penalty incident you refer to being one.
