Now im still trying to get my head round most of there decisions whom they appoint as manager BUT it has to be said a good premier league club over the last decade or so !
Is now being run by muppets surely ?

Steve Keane hounded out ... sacked
    Henning Berg .. ?? sacked
and now they want M Appleton from Blackpool
are they mad another manager with no experience whatsoever of management ???
if you were a BRFC fan im sure we would all be bouncing around here
There forsight into getting them back into the Premier League is nothing short of scandalous and stinks of trying to do it on the CHEAP !
Dont they realise it is the leader that takes them where they should be going in the future !!!!!!!!!!!
appoint a manager with reputation of getting teams up !!
there is a few out there im sure ...
Im no BRFC fan but i wouldnt half be pissed off with what the owners are putting there club throo again and again !!
WILL THEY NEVER LEARN ... seems there football education is limited to say the least if not i would sack there advisors .....

That's what happens when billionaires buy a club as a new play thing. There are success stories like Man City, Chelsea etc, but plenty of failures too. And it's all because Allardyce "wasn't good enough".

Big Sam would have kept them up and allowed them to develop, he is the only one to come out of this with any kudos.

They should never sacked him and hence Keane should never have had the job - he was embarrassing. He made TP look like GOD!

    Exactly

Big Sam is a good Manager... And if I we're a Blackburn fan I would be more than a little hacked off. I complain about TP more than some other Stokie's but, he is keeping our heads above water. To think, Blackburn won the League not that long ago, and you look at where they are now? It's a travisty. Apart from Forest won the European Cup and are now somewhat struggling. I can't think of any other clubs who have basically " Messed up" so badly. Maybe Leeds.

Comes down to MONEY, the lack of MONEY, or how your Chairman spends MONEY IMO. We're doing well compared to some other so called "Big Clubs"

also I've just seen that it's costing Citeh fans 65 quid to watch a league game.. it's INSANE! They say money is the root of all evil. I'm thankful for where Stoke are right now compared to some other clubs.

    Morning all,
Potts, Blackburn were arguably the first team to 'buy' the league, thanks to Jack Walker's money.
Dalgliesh as managerm buying Shearer and Sutton etc etc.

    Just saying

I agree with that Nicky, they effectively did, it didn't take them years to learn to play together either so they must have had smaller ego's. The Blackburn owners have only got themselves to blame for what is happeming now feel sorry for the supporters.

I was there when Bryan Douglas of Blackburn Rovers ran back onto the pitch from behind a goal , intercepted an intended backpass , scored , and put us out of the cup. Maybe not against the laws at that time , but not very sporting either.

    Yep,
I know the effectively bought the title but what's happened since then? Bad transfer of player's? Numerous managers and now? A bunch of Chicken merchants who know less about football than we do. What would Jack Walker be thinking right now.. sad for the fans but really the whole set up of the club is in turmoil. And has been for some time IMO.
