Disappointing to lose in extra-time.....John Sheridan must of been pleased with the performance after Saturdays game.

Alessandra had a good game scoring two goals....that doesn't happen often, someone scoring twice...... since BWP days.

Birmingham had a few up and coming youngsters playing....but they still had a strong squad out, seeing that they were playing Div2 opposition.

Let's hope that extra-time has not sapped all their energy from the lads for Saturdays home game.

It's always disappointing to lose at any time but it's still a loss however well they played or didn't. On the face of it they must have played well enough even if they did lose. It isn't really a great shock to lose away at a Championship outfit from league 2 so although we may all hope to cause an upset it doesn't happen that much overall.

I don't think anyone can read too much into how the season has started. Another loss on Saturday might give the negatives something to cheer about but even that against Fleetwood wouldn't be a huge shock. I expect Fleetwood to be up there this season whereas I don't truely expect Argyle to be chasing promotion. I hope they will but that's different to expecting. We didn't get thrashed by the Championship side and scored twice so if anything it is slightly on the encouraging side.
