We have recalled Knott from his loan.

Has Poyet decided he has enough experience now to merit a chance in the 1st team squad? Maybe we have a midfielder or 2 leaving, making way for Billy to have a chance?

 

Rumour is that Gardner is on the way out, replacement?

From what I have heard/read Billy is more a creative midfielder ?

 

That would make so much sense, get shot of Gards, let Knott take his squad number so all of Gards free wages can go on a decent signing.

 

Attacking midfielder not afraid to shoot or run at defenders. Always liked the look of him, seemed way more advanced physically and football wise compared to his team-mates at u21s.....but i'm not sure he's ready to step up just yet. Then again, i hope i'm wrong for the right reasons..

Gardner looks completely disinterested though. Not that he was ever the footballing solution to our midfield needs. He's such a home boy, the fact he has/may have to consider moving/upping sticks is probably impacting his mental state and thus his game.
