The best line ever spoken on American television by someone playing a high school principal: "We try to keep the boys off the pipe, and the girls off the pole." I doubt those names would help with the latter. I have my own list of names you give girls to doom them to losing their virginity in the back of a pickup truck. Tiffany is probably the worst of the worst.
Yes tots we did so it will make a defeat today less hurtful, if it happens that is. England's second beat Wales' first and could have been a lot more. I composed a little song and posted it on the Welsh Rugby Union page. "Men of Harlech, policemen, bankers. Wales are just a bunch of wan*ers. In the sinbin doing jankers. Dry your eyes now Taffs." I don't think I'll be going that way for a while judging by some of the responses
I was at that game last night TMT, first time ever at the Millennium Stadium and the atmosphere was probably up there with the best and most spine-tingling I've ever experienced. Cracking result too.
I would have loved to have been there. But, what a stupid time to kick off in Cardiff! I bet you had fun getting home?...
We'd booked a hotel well in advance luckily but it was a joke for the fans travelling home on the night, really felt for them, it was a bit chaotic. One train to London half an hour after the game ended? A farce really. I ended up getting an early train back and walking in my front door just as the Derby kicked off, so a good sporting weekend so far!
When the Taffs went 10 points up Huddle did you think England were out of it? I'd have loved to have been there. Anyway 24 minutes in and France 6 Scotland 3, not good.
Yeah when they put those quick points on the board I thought we'd crumble to be honest. Second half performance was immense I have to say. Great mental strength from the team to come back into it.
Wales never looked like scoring in the second half. Another 2-3 tries would not have flattered England yesterday.
I haven't watched the highlights yet but our try that was disallowed in the second half looked like a bit of a dubious call and Haskell was a little unlucky to run into the post too!
Yeah Haskell hitting the post full on was a bit unlucky. A bit more on either side and he probably would have spun over for a try. The disallowed try was correct, but a bit harsh IMHO. Wales did not deserve to be within a winning score for so long.
I wonder how old boring goonercymraeg feels today, Wales and the goons lose.......................oh bliss.
Yes, the final score didn't reflect England's virtual total dominance of the second half, which was as complete as Wales' was 2 years ago.
England has a consistent habit of improving as the competition progresses and as another 14 or more points could have been scored in Wales methinks England with three home matches will absolutely thrash somebody. With high morale in rugby chances are converted to points very smoothly.
Should we return to a five nations rugby tournament because Italy are offering nothing? They're getting thrashed on a regular basis and will get murdered by England.
