He's the type who has an argument with himself in the mirror first thing in the morning.

Jack Wheelchair claims he sent a birthday gift, but there's been suggestions that it was merely an appeasement

Just occured to me , it is a year ago today that was the last time I saw Tottenham play live, the day we went out of the FAcup on penalties and the day Eric Dier want walkabout in the stands

More evidence that the game is ****ed...
Lee 'Dipstick' Probert, erstwhile PL ref, says 'Things like offside are factual. They are black-and-white decisions.'

Are these clowns actually watching the absolute clusterfuck they are creating between the rules and VAR interpretation?

I know what he means, but it's not that simple, is it?
Goalline tech works because it's actually black and white. VAR on offsides is more controversial because there are so many factors involved.

Black & White? Should be, but definitely in the dark grey zone for me. Especially as the technology that they rely on for literally hairline decisions isn't visually accurate enough.
And then deciding that Player A is offside because it appears an inch of his elbow is ahead of play!

It's a nonsense in a number of ways. First it should be measured by where the feet of the player are, this is FOOTball players are not allowed to use hands and arms. Either the hands and arms are in play for the game or they are not. To have a situation where a player is not allowed to use them but they can be used against him is ridiculous and unfair. The technology is doubtful anyway, it's the human eye that decides when the ball has left the passing players foot. That decision is then used to judge, again by human eye, whether any part of the attacker is 'offside'. Clearly the game would be better off reverting to the decision being made at the time by the ref and his assistants again by human eye. Mistakes will still be made but at least we will not have to wait for the mistake to be replayed over and over destroying the flow of the game and the celebration of the goals by players and fans. There are NO benefits to using the technology in this way except of course to TV that loves controversy.

So what's the spread for the party to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Alan Sugar getting the hell out of our club?
