So the ubermensch has now fallen out with Dele, Toby, Dier, Winks, Aurier and (unsurprisingly...) Rose

On the plus side that does mean Harry Winks absolutely serves a purpose in the team, because he's seeing the loss of the dressing room spread from just defenders to midfielders...

Mr Gold is a very sensible head and he's at a loss to understand what the hell is going on and can see that things are getting beyond a point where you can rationally continue without Mourinho changing direction.

It's all a complete mess and upon top of what he said, there are two players whose form has completely collapsed and should be nowhere near the team, in Sanchez and Doherty, and they've both been getting selected to start games and stay on the pitch, whilst the likes of Vinicius and Tanganga aren't being utilised, when we really need them.

There's no justifiable reason for playing Sissoko at wing back, whilst Tanaganga's on the bench. It weakens 2 areas on the pitch at the same time. Likewise, with leaving it 45 minutes until Vinicius got to play. It's getting to look like he's picking names and positions out of a hat...and he never comes back from these declines. He just falls out with more and more players and his last 2 clubs have had to sack him, even after he had he won them silverware in the recent past.

This needs ending and I'm pretty sure that the run of games we have coming up, will do just that.

In principle I have no problem with a manager falling out with players, as long as it isn't done publicly or with real malice or resentment. A professional parting of ways is totally fine; it's unrealistic to expect a new manager to work well with someone else's players. We saw similar under Poch where he fell out with the likes of Kaboul, Adebayor and Bentaleb and totally froze them out.

However, it only makes sense to start falling out with players if the bigger picture improves and the long-term project crystallizes as a result. Under Poch, that project was a preference for youth over experience, and performances and results on the pitch visibly started to improve.

That is clearly not the case now. Brian summed it up brilliantly. This isn't a professional parting of ways to clear the path for new and fresh ideas, it is scapegoating.

The fact he's fallen out with three of what was his first-choice back four at the start of the seasons is one hell of a red flag

It's his choice of tactics which are consistently exposing the weaknesses of Dier and Aurier in particular, and yet it's their fault that their weaknesses haven't magically vanished into thin air after he sets us up so that we're inviting pressure upon ourselves for 60+ minutes

As I said elsewhere, I am wondering how long before either Kane or Son go above his head and tell Levy that either he goes or they go

4 of the 9 weren't stabbed in Croydon...but they were taken to Mayday, which the reports kinda forgot to mention. That said, there were a few more on Saturday to make up for the drop in numbers.

It's why I left Croydon and wild horses couldn't drag me back.

It wouldn't surprise me, at all. It's Chelsea and it's social media. He'll have some actual evidence this time, too.

Fun fact: Mayday isn't called Mayday anymore, it's called Croydon University Hospital

Which puts it in the same bracket as Windscale Sellafield, EuroDisney Disneyland Paris, and Crossrail the Elizabeth Line
