Personally I'm at odds with his possible signing. We didn't really see much of him while last here to really judge his ability and he is now a member of the 30 bracket. Shame he's 29 years old. If he was under 21 he would only cost us £4.98 an hour. Come to think of it, Tom Ince is only 20 - could be worth an approach?
If his agent is trying to get a bidding war going, then make sure our bid is the highest then pull out of the deal at the last minute. That's the only language agents understand.
Hes been released by Norwich for a reason. Id only consider a deal to the end of season. If we go up we need better - much better.
Agreed Hilts, similar to my comment earlier this week when his release was announced. We should have double cover across the park for the rest of the season and while Declan John looks a very promising prospect i would want to rely on him for the remainder of the season if Tayls is out at any time. Yes, Kev can play left back but could also be needed at right back. Please don't say Ralls can play there. He filled in for an emergency but he is not a left back.
if he's not good enough for a bang average team like norwich, then he's not good enough for us. on minimum wage he'd be worth it, but even so i could think we could do better......
