Most of you are aware I live in a Bhudist country. I consider myself bhudist in my beliefs but have recently become questioned that by the Thai culture. Personally I will continue with this as it brings myself inner self tranquility. I know on this site we have many faiths which i respect those who hold them I say this because I feel uneasy with the system here which is way beyond my interpretation of what my personal beliefs are or how I personally perceive the teachings. Please lets not have the usual slangings we've had before but would really appreciate contributions from different faiths who maybe don't agree with the cognoscenti. Thanks.
Funny thing is, yes is is mainly Buddhist. They are all the same hyprocrites as any other faith. I pay decent money for the bairn to go to decent Catholic school. I don't know why half their family is catholic, but the still do both, temples and churches etc.
Thanks for the tongue in cheek moment mate, seems I'm at loggerheads with elders and most of the people. I may be wrong but most religions as I know purport love and understanding amongst our brothers and I appreciate how this can be diluted at times. but it's a genuine question.
Just believe in what you want to believe in mate, it's your life. Fook what others think. I was born into a Christian family or what my mum would call CofE. However, I'm not religious, but respect and take an interest in all faiths. There is no religious temple or place of worship, that I would not step inside, because life is about exploring. My only non belief is cults. I think they can be a dangerous entity created by unscrupulous people on the vulnerable in our society. I suppose that's where this paragraph and the one above could collide and people ask, what's the difference. I can't answer that one for you. As I say, I'm not religious but I do have one belief and that's called fate, maybe, just maybe, that's where me and buddism, could share an interest. My prinicple in life has always been I will go where fate takes me.
