Yes, apologies - my spelling was novel...

I see your point about building, but from the owners' point of view, they have a ticket to the lottery and a one in four chance. If we fail, we build on the Austins, Phillips, Onouhas, Simpsons, Yuns, Faurlins and Hoiletts - possibly without Harry and team

Bloody hell, we haven't even played them yet! Lets save the obituaries until the fatality has actually occurred.

Not really as it turned out. We were very unlucky to lose yesterday. Our first string side mightn't have done any better, who knows?

Out of context quote, bad habit Swords. Goldie said he would have been happy with play offs at the beginning of the season. I asked if that meant he would be happy losing in the play offs, it wasn't a prediction.

if he did he took a huge risk. Leicester were probably the easiest game, the others are in desperate need of points.

I know Stan but when someone says they'd be happy with the Playoffs at the start of a season, they're talking about after 46 games. After all, if they were saying they'd be happy going up through the Playoffs, it wouldn't make sense because of course they'd be happy with that. That would be the holy grail attained. Mission accomplished.

I'd have snatched your hand off for the Playoffs at the start of the season given the mess we were in. Once you're in there, anything can happen.

If Harry starts with Austin and Morrison tomorrow, then I'd say he decided our best bet re two games in three days was home v Watford rather than away at Leicester.

It is indeed a strange league. Forest won their first game in THIRTEEN yesterday yet they're back in contention!

According to the official site, Hill, Doyle, Barton and Austin are fit for today, so I'd go for this, bearing in mind that Hoilett, Traore and Benayoun are presumably still out injured:

    ----------------------Green----------------------
    Simpson--------Onuoha---------Hill-----------Yun
    ---------------Henry-------Carroll----------------
    Barton--------------Morrison---------------O'neill
    ------------------Austin-------------------------

However, I'm sure Harry will re-call Dunne and put Clint at left back, which would at least allow Yun to play further forward on the left instead of O'neill.

It's fair becoming impossible to second guess Harry's line-ups these days. Johnson and Doyle are allegedly fit so I'd expect to see one or both at some stage today, I'd expect Austin to be wrapped in cotton wool until the play-offs...

Trouble is, if Austin isn't played he will be no use for the play offs. He needs game time to get fit and most importantly, match sharp! It's a catch 22 and I think Harry was right not to play him on Saturday, but in our last 3 games, Austin must get some game time imo.

This. It took Charlie some time to get going at the beginning of the season, then he couldn't stop scoring. I'd play him in all remaining games, and would have on Saturday, if only for 60 minutes.
