So, he's leaving West Yorkshire in March next year. I just hope that whatever enquiry ensues into his part in the SYP cover-up totally hangs him out to dry
Considering that West Yorkshire Police authority know what he did and the embarrassing situation they were in they should have sacked the **** before he got the chance to retire on a massive police pension.
Did I read wrong but will this be his second pension? See he's staying in until march 2013 assuming that makes him up to full pension.
It may not have been his idea to retire, and the police authority sacking him would possibly give the impression they thought he was guilty prior to any investigation by the police complaints authority, I think a strongly worded suggestion may have been made!
Unless the IPCC finishes its investigation by March, they can't touch him (or his pension). And even if they look close to coming to a conclusion, he throws a sickie a-la-Duckenfield and stretches it till March.... and they can't touch him. The actions of a man "Who has nothing to hide"?.... The only hope is that a criminal conspiracy is found within the evidence. No chance - unless enough pressure is put on individuals, serving and retired, to crack and rat the others out, as in a Mafia-style, witness turning strategy. Was it only three weeks ago the press (apart from the Telegraph) were outraged and calling for justice? They've all gone quiet again now, so they won't be doing anything. Let's be honest, the **** wiil be in his Dunsmearin' retirement cottage next door to Duckenfield in Bournemouth next summer, untouchable and unrepentent. God knows how much these people have on politicians to get away with this stuff all the while.
"They need to be fairly and fully investigated and I welcome this independent and formal scrutiny." http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-19836760 They'll be a 100% fairer than you were with the victims and their families you piece of ****.
This ^ The man is a ****ing ****. I hope they nail him with the criminal case that will undoubtedly be brought now he's slimed out of the forthcoming police investigation.
"In a statement Sir Norman said: "Recent weeks have caused me to reflect on what is best for the future of my ****ing big fat pension and any possibility that I may face criminal charges for perverting the course of justice and I have now decided to set a firm date for my retirement."
And now the irony of ironies donga, we on Merseyside have got to pay the ****'s £3,500 a month pension. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/2012...ison-s-annual-88-000-pension-100252-31977916/ Back in 98 the Merseyside Police Authority were warned by local MP's and THFSG of his probable involvement in a Hillsborough cover-up but the twats took no notice and still appointed him, after his evil deeds against the victims and families they now have to pay towards his bloodmoney-pension from their community charges etc.
Totally agree the guy is a complete W....stain and like mentioned the victims family have got to pay towards his pension WTF Total F.......G disgrace
So Norman thinks he gets to just slide away into obscurity with a nice big fat pension does he? Let's hope Michael Mansfield QC and his boys hound this ****er to the ends of the earth
