Looking at Saturday's game with Watford, who of you is confident enough to place a bet on Town winning. It's a serious question as I am thinking of backing you for this game, although the odds are not especially great. I really do fancy you guys for a win, given that Watford are not what they were last season, and Ipswich are better than they were. What do you reckon?
Those are the bets I like. £5 on Town to win, say, 4-0 would probably give a decent return and if you lose, you lose £5 - no great shakes. If you're talking a straight win bet, then I think I'll keep my fiver!
Yeah, sorry - straight bet is what I had in mind, along with a few other games such as Leeds home to Barnsley etc Having said that, both Town and Leeds could get caught out with the 'new manager syndrome' this weekend, which is making me a little more apprehensive.

Betting on US to beat WATFORD?! We've beaten them ONCE home AND away since 03/04, last seasons Chopra last minute winner at Vicerage Road. Not beaten them at home since that Bowditch hat-trick......... There is no way on earth I could bet on us to do Watford. I once did a 2-1 Watford bet @ 11-1. We took the lead........... then I backed Watford inplay on 55 minutes @ 10-1. We duly lost 2-1. Infact, we lost there 2-1 FOUR YEARS on the spin! I absolutely detest playing Watford, lets just get this stupid fixture out of the way. Prediction = 1-1, or annoying 2-1 loss. Watford 7th on away form, us 15th on home I think too.
