Just read the Tues news on website with it saying KM no nearer to signing LB & CH? I know I might be being a little too critical, but shouldn't those have been his top priority not more wingers and strikers and I am getting worried that we might end up with a couple of rushed signings or loanees!
Ain't it fun being a City supporter (could be worse I could be a gashead!)

I also am concerned at the amount of time Keef is taking about signing defenders and wonder if is his fame spreading, but view it another way would you want 15 4th tier class players or the 3 we have signed up to now...?

Wize how many of those 3 you have signed have come from the 4th tier exactly? 2 out of the 3? plus a Leeds reject?<badger>

Absolutely Wize wholeheartedly agree we don't want to drop any further and I believe Buckle is the man who has brought about significant change in an attempt to achieve this. To this end we are signing players from our own division or higher divisions whilst on the whole Keith has sought players from two divisions below. Whilst they are young and too a degree proven in league one/two surely a question mark remains over their pedigree and ability to perform in the championship? Albert and Brett were both great signings for you but will you always unearth that gem? Surely there must be a modicum of concern over the lack of transfer activity? Also there must be concern over Maynard not signing? I also note similar to last year you're begining to accumulate some pre season injuries is this of concern? Are the coffers empty over there? Is Mr Lansdown not willing to spend on a new signing, is the focus on the new ground to the detriment of the team on the pitch?

I know we're league 2 and I understand our position as poor neighbours and an inferior team.....yada,yada,yada, but for the first time in a long time I see some optimism at the minimal whilst on the other hand I don't at present feel the same flooding from Ashton Gate.........Still it's only pre season and a couple of signings including that of Nicky will make everything feel a lot better south of the river........Chin Up Guys.....it could be worse.

This leaky defence scares me right now, i think we have the fire power, the midfield supply but the back 4 is too old and too slow. We need desperatley to find another Caulker from somewhere or our pre-season optimism will all be in vain. As for mocking the blue few they have made too easy this summer, what with them finally returning to the bottom division having a manager called buckel and sighning anything that can walk in a straight line and who is not too upset being forced to wear the bog paper home strip! long may it continue!

The midfield is still far too weak, and though Millen has mentioned the defensive problems I can see it being a genuine problem for us unless we act now.

If we can't buy until we sell then we should overhaul the defence entirely now and spend on someone with proven Championship or Premier League credentials.

Mind you having watched "How to buy a football club" last night I suppose we should be thankful that we are not owned by some far east wideboy wanting to use us, for fame and fortune before dumping us for a profit! watch out Leicester, Cardiff, Southampton, Sheffield United etc.
I am still trying to remain positive, Caulker was a late loan signing if I remember as was Jordan Spencer so won't reach for a sharp knife or the tablets yet. (something I may well have done had I come from the Blue side of Bris.
