Isn't New Vegas made by Obsidian (the same company that destroyed Neverwinter Nights 2) rather than Bethesda? Though it is annoying when it autosaves at a point where, for example, you exit a building and there's Mirelurk waiting for you who destroys you in a flash. Bloody Mirelurks.

Anyhow, I'm in a conundrum. Looking at Amazon it seems you can get The Pitt and the Anchorage one together and Point Lookout and Broken Steel together. I can't really get both, however I know the level cap is raised on Point Lookout. I think I'd prefer to get Pitt and the Anchorage one first as they were the first released I believe, but I don't want to get into the Pitt and already be level 20 and not be able to get any more xp. Though I'm just under level 15 atm. Would be a bit silly..... Mmmmm.

Developed by Obsidian, published by Bethesda. It uses the same engine as Fallout 3, so it's basically the same but with a different map, story line and weapons.

Oh and Point Lookout is genius.

Broken Steel raises the level cap. You have to be a bit careful of doing it at high levels though, soc there's an area in it with tons of Ghouls, some of which will be Feral Ghoul Reavers.

I played all 5 DLCs for Fallout 3, possibly the best game I've played ever, New Vegas was class also but it never could live up to Fallout 3 as it was that good, Skyrim is class aswell

I think this is a common nostalgic misconception. FF7 was the ground-breaker, and it is remembered as such because there was nothing like it before. FF8 more-or-less continued from where FF7 left off, except it introduced the junction system which, apart from some simple folks finding it too confusing, was perfect. It had subtle improvements and a wonderful storyline, which made it the best Final Fantasy game released and, in my opinion, the best game released to this day.

I heard a hint that it'll be set in Nevada again. Hoping not as setting it in the same place two games in a row would be a bit dull. Would love to have a Fallout Game set in London, that would be epic. Imagine fighting super mutants in Trafalgar Square! Or Feral Ghouls in the London Underground.

With regards with the Fallout 3 addons, might just be best (and cheaper) to get the game of the year edition. Or just go for the Pit and Anchorage and buy the other ones later maybe (can't find Mothership Zeta on it's own on either Amazon or Ebay.....)

Fallout 4 is apparently set in China, obviously over the Fallout games you only see the American perspective of the Nuclear war, the next one will see the Chinese perspective and how they deal with life after the bombs fell

To be honest, I would be very surprised if they took the Fallout series out of America. After all, in general Americans are a fairly introspective people (no offense to them, they're nice people but they are quite introspective).

Yeah, I might be the only other person in the universe who liked FF8 better than FF7...the lengthy animations of the junction thingies (I can't remember what they were called) were annoying as hell, but as I'm the sort of person who loves nothing more than a good logistical nightmare in a game, FF8 was perfect for me. Civ IV is also fantastic; couldn't get into Civ V, though.

I think there are plenty of people who acknowledge that FF8 was the best, but a lot of people I have spoken to about it say it confused them at the start and they gave up on it too quickly. When it came out I must have been 9 years old and I remember the junction system confused the hell out me back then. I remember having to watch the tutorials over and over to remind myself how to do it. I've played through 7, 8 and 9 again over the last couple of years, as they're really cheap to download on the PS3, and reaffirmed my love for 8 in particular. In fact just talking about it now is making me want to start it again.
