http://eplindex.com/65983/best-right-back-league.html The best RB overall according to EPL Index is Ivanovic, but Clyne comes up mentioned in despatches with only 1 error made leading to a goal.
Ivanovic is the best RB in the division hands down followed by Zabaleta ( despite a dip in form ) and then Clyne. Clyne is by far the best English RB in the division. Didn't think I would be saying that 3 years ago when we signed him, always thought he had a torrid time v Saints when he was at Palace. Further example how Southampton Fc are up there at the top when it comes to developing players and nurturing talent
I honestly think tattoo artists ought to pay some sort of tax to footballers. It's just not in my mentality to tattoo my body, but these twerps do it. [not JWP, I hope] Sorry, even Jose is a twerp in my opinion, for doing it, and I admire the bloke for a lot of other things besides. I notice that the backdrop is the old well known maxim: Hard work beats talent if talent doesn't work hard. Now where have I seen that before..?
Tattoos are only good for identifying dead bodies and criminals My personal dislike are nose rings...every time I see one I keep wondering about how you prevent snot build up. Very distracting thought when you are trying to engage someone in conversation.
I'd be more worried about how you safely pick your nose hair at traffic lights, if sporting a pierced nose.
I have to point out that I am not so old that I would actually ask about snot build up....give me another five years.
James is from a nice family and has been well brought up. That is why he doesn't have tatatoo. He is intelligent enough to fill his time constructively and doesn't need to waste time at some dodgy tattoo parlour. Of course they will all regret it.
My only issue with Clyne is his poor left foot. It means he always has to go on the outside if he wants to get a cross in which he has been doing less frequently in recent weeks. Whether this is because the opposition is working him out I don't know. When he comes inside he will generally just lay it off to someone else. If he could improve that part of his game he would be right up there.
Hopefully he will look at what has happened to his old mate Luke Shaw who looks a shadow (a rather big shadow!) of the exciting talent we saw last year. What the hell have Manure done to the lad, looks 10 yrs older, fatter, the worries of the world on his shoulders, ripped to shreds by AOC on Monday and subbed at half time....what a shame and what a waste of talent
Same could be said about so many of the team, being one footed. The number of times an easy pass, to a player in space, is scorned, owing to a player's lack of confidence in using his weaker foot, is quite astounding. They would sooner use their better foot, and pass to a more closely marked team mate, than take a chance. You would think, in this day and age, more time would be devoted to this in training, such as a session or two in which only the left foot can be used, then another just using the right. It's not rocket science.
It is amazing how many of the World's best players were one footed, really one footed. Messi and Maradonna for a start. Maradonna was also very one handed too.
