http://www.skysports.com/football/n...wayne-rooney-david-beckham-and-more-plmoments Sky showing best moments from their EPL coverage: today, they are doing best goals and asking people to vote. This morning they showed Tiss's goal against Newcastle (amongst others). There was a really good goal by Thierry Henri that caught my eye. This article lists over a hundred goals if you care to look.
I could just watch the two Tony Yeboah goals all day long. I will never get bored of them. I was around 12 years old at the time he scored them and all I ever wanted to do from then on, either on Sunday afternoons or on the playground, was to 'do a Yeboah'. I think the Wimbledon one just shades it as my fave ever PL goal.
When I saw it on Sky, the Tiss goal was the first shown, but, even with red and white specs on, I preferred the Henri goal. However, I like to think it had the air of a Le Tissier goal, so perhaps Henri learnt it from watching Saints games.
Le Tiss said he was disappointed with that goal, he wanted it to be a thunderbolt finish, but he miss hit it!
Just love that Yeboah goal against Wimbledon, great to see it again. Mind you, those two from Cisse v Chelsea take some beating especially the second one.
Surely a "Best Premier League Goals" video would be dominated by Le Tiss??? No? It's a crap one then.
A top 50 all time Prem goals should definitely have 3 from Le Tiss: Newcastle home (2-1 win) Blackburn away (2-3 loss) Man Utd home (6-3 win) He's got a lot of belters from before the Prem started and of course a lot during the Prem years, but no more that I feel are worthy of top 50. Anyone disagree? PS - It was hard to leave out that free kick against Wimbledon.
