John Sheridan & Jason Banton have won the Div2's manager & player of the month awards for March. Sheridan is the first Argyle manager to win the award since Paul Sturrock in Dec 2003.........nearly a ten year wait.
We used to say that the title was a kiss of death previously. The one surprise for me is Jason Banton. I know, he scores goals and all that. He is one of the laziest gits I've witnessed in a long time. Ironically since Bradley Wright-Phillips. Ok so he scored goals as well. Kind of killing my own argument here aren't I.
Yes but Sensible you have to remember that this is an award made by people who have not seen a live game of football outside the top division for about 102.7654 years and even in the top division the last 20 years have been on MoTD. So....look at the top scorers, pick an unlikely team annnnnnddddd theres your winner!!!!!! They can paint him purple and crown him King of the Umpa Lumpas for all I care as long as he keeps banging them in. PS Bit of a worry about Sheridan leaving, Blackburn haven't had a new manager in the last day or so......
