...... has got to be The Vine in West Brom.
I’m in here tonight on my way up to Manchester for a family ‘do’ this weekend. Unbelievable atmosphere and all sorts of Indian food - grilled or ‘normal’.
On a boring industrial estate just off the M5 it looks like a pub about average size, but it goes back - and back - and back - like a Tardis.
Absolutely gutted we play WBA on a mid-week evening :(

The Hawthorns is one of my favourite grounds - like you I can't go if it's midweek

My favourite away pub is the Wellington in Birmingham

Always went in the Throstles club during WBA visits in the 70's. Parked up in their car park at noon and 25 yards from the turnstiles.
    Brilliant days.

I liked Jacksons Wharf in Hartlepool where we were made very welcome by staff and locals, and they even had an Adge Cutler & The Wurzels tape playing for us.

However, the locals weren't so friendly after we'd inflicted their first home defeat in ages (1-2) and especially when I called one of them a Monkey Hanger and then threw my bag of chips at him, missed and hit a cameraman instead. We then got chased all the way back to Hartlepool Station laughing all the way.

    Happy Days
