Afobe has just gone on loan to Reading for the rest of the season. Wenger said about him:

"He is the next central striker to come into our squad, and I feel that 2 - 3 months of Championship now will help him to get the step up and hopefully he will do very well there, because he has the potential to do it."

Do you see him being the next Arsenal striker? Does this mean Joel Campbell might not come in for next season?

How high do you rate him?

    For Strikers/Wing Forwards:

Out of the squad: Bendtner, Chamakh, Arshavin

In to the Squad: Podolski, Campbell, Miyaichi, Afobe

I think Podolski (if we sign him) will get alot of playing time due to his wages, so i don't think he will simply be a back-up to RVP which means he will either get time out left or we will be playing more of a 4-4-2 / 4-3-3 hyrbid formation. I think Campbell and Miyaichi will both get game time like oxocube has this season. Afobe i think will get odd appearances, maybe league cup games and then a loan to a prem team for the second half of the season.

I think we will have much better forward options next season.

Miyaichi is a real talent. He was great in Holland last season and has been good for Bolton so far on his loan. He will definately get opportunities next season. He will play a bit part role to start with and hopefuly be pushing for a spot like oxocube by the end of the season.
