Watching Holland on tv, And Germany on my laptop. enjoying it so far. But my point is.....Having never been a lover of Bendtner or his style of play, I stick my hand up, he is playing for the shirt and his country, so from me to him,,,,,5 STARS.

Still dont want us to sign him though.

Aye he was class for the scousers ACS!

As for Bendtner - if we could get the Bendtner that played in the Euro's then I'd love him playing for us - unfortunately he will only "Play for the shirt" when it suits him (Man City Away this season for us!) - when it doesn't suit him he looks ****e! - For that reason - I'm with you Bill - I don't want him to sign either

He actually manages to get in the box for the Danes, if he did that a bit more for us he might have scored a few more times and we would have at least thought of signing him.

Denmark striker Nicklas Bendtner has been banned for one competitive fixture and fined €100,000 for improper conduct at the Group B match against Portugal.

Following the opening of disciplinary proceedings concerning the improper conduct of Denmark's Nicklas Bendtner at the UEFA EURO 2012 Group B match against Portugal in Lviv on Wednesday 13 June, the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body has decided to suspend the player for one competitive fixture.

This suspension applies to the next 2014 FIFA World Cup match, including the qualifying competition, for which Bendtner is eligible. The player has also been fined €100,000. An appeal can be lodged against this decision within three days of the dispatch of the full written decision.

    WTF?

162 goals in 354 games? Liverpool, Real Madrid, Skunks and Man Utd? A goal every 2.185 games in the top flight of 2 countries. I cant think it has been bettered by another Englishman in my lifetime in 2 European leagues?

40 goals in 89 games for England? A ratio of a goal every 2.25 games at International Level? Absolutely amazing

The lad was one of the best strikers this country has produced in the last 100 years, both at club and country but his career was certainly ended prematurely as a top class striker, by injury certainly not ability.

I'm afraid you've rather made a bit of a tit of yourself with this statement imo.
