brb you signed strevens that makes up 4 us signing oli ...............can't hit a barn door springs to mind....but he does try hard for the team
strevs played mostly on the wing for us last season,he puts in a decent shift but when he is up front he hardly ever looks like he is gonna score,i bet he will get a goal against us now i have said that .an honest hard working team player but just don't expect him to score loads of goals.
Perhaps this is the answer to the winger conundrum? He's no spring chicken but if he is mobile at all and remains injury free I can't see anything wrong with signing him. Judging by the darts game yesterday Allen was using a 4-4-3 with Monty, Lee and Whelpdale to begin with, were we too narrow again or have we actually gained any width through Strevens? Great to hear Birch is back and shooting again.
