SAFC = Top NE Club. A fact even the deluded minions from NE1 cannot shy away from.

See there you go. On about it again like a broken record.

Also since when did Cabaye become injury prone?

I think this could be right - but not from history.

When you break your leg all manner of other complications can arise that don't get picked up. I broke my leg a few years ago and ended up, since then, suffering all sorts of other minor ailments due to this including repeated strained ligaments in my ankle - apparently (according to the physio) due to the leg break the anke, when kept still, can lose the use of the ligaments for the time you're in plaster (12 weeks for me) - and due to this the ligaments sprain and strain realy easily.

There again my physion possibly won't be quite as good as the one Ben Arfa has (Although knowing the way Mike Ashley likes to save cash, he might be the same bloke!!)

Dont try and make it look like I was generalising. It was a direct swipe at the OP and you know it. But then again you are an arsehole too so maybe there was a bit of generalisation

  7. We don't need Ben Arfa to beat you, we proved that last season, when you had a stronger team.

I knew I could come on here today and find an article laughing at Ben Arfa being injured <doh>. I'm glad the sensible side of Sunderland can see that the league is more fun when we've both got full strength sides.

As for Cabaye being injury prone, I don't think he is, but he's seen as a Jacques Mesrine type over here now, so no doubt he'll be constantly in and out of prison for various reasons over the course of his contract.

I'm sorry but I think if you look at the final league table, you will find you were actually not as good as us.........or our B team for that matter that saw out the season.

In fact and these are hardened facts not something from Aesop's fables as most craas quote from, we have been the best NE team for 3 consecutive seasons, one of which I think you will find you were not even in the same division as us.

Have a good second season syndrome HMT. I'm sure all your new signings will be world class, your manager tactically astute, your fans well behaved and your owner benevolent to the last. :smiley-finger007:

I agree its a bit of bad taste to laugh at an injured player. I dont really care who they put out when we play them i will give whoever wears black and white stripes that day a load of ****. I also dont care who we put out as long as after 90 mins we are the winning team. Injuries are picked up by players all the time and just because the lads had one injury on his road to recovery doesnt mean we should be writing off his career. Im disappointed about whats happened to Campbell and Meyler both very promising players whos careers could be destroyed by injury and how would we react if people were actually laughing about this.

I'm 7 months through rehab for the same injury as Campbell, Essien and one third of Meyler's injury. The damaged ligament get's replaced usually with a graft from the hamstring, sometimes part of the patella tendon but it's never the same again.

Doctors have told me I'll be able to play again but I've been warned against it by a physio I know, they is more chance that it'll go again. Just look at Matthew Bates at Middlesbrough he's had his knee re-constructed 4 times and Essien is now going to be on his 3rd.

It's a very long road back and some might make a recovery without having any future problems but unfortunately it's not that common.

Best of luck for Ben Arfa, cracking player in France, seen a flash of brilliance for the Barcodes but people are right about coming back from serious injuries, often get alot of niggling injuries.

All the newcastle fans getting upset by the OP, need to look on there board, as when o'shea got injured and was on his way back, a very similar article was created on your board (and also mentioned wes brown as being the next one to fall, and that they have both came here for the pay check, and that sir alex knew they were crocks). And infact some newcastle fans were actually calling the OP of that article as they thought it would come and bite them in the arse. Well it has, get over it man, this kind of thing happens between all fans, and will never stop. I dont think anyone wants a players career to be over but when the chance of a bit of banter or winding up comes along there is always atleast one fan who will go with it.
