Ben Arfa Rehabbing

Where's Kevin Nolan in this?

I know he isn't the most technical but he does distribute the ball well and where would we be without his goals this season?

 

For me it would either mean dropping jonas or having arfa play behind the lone striker, you can't leave Nolan out he is our captain and like pride said he has scored some vital goals for us

 

You can always move Barton to the right wing obviously and play Nolan and Tiote in the middle but I think we'd be stronger having the pace of HBA down one wing and the pace of Jonas down the other to be honest. Nolan doesn't look like being able to play every game effectively if the fixtures are close together anyway, he was dead on his feet an hour in over Christmas so we'd need a plan B...

 

Or just obviously go to mine after an hour when Nolan's tired and unleash Jonas on tired full backs, whichever.

But on a week in, week out basis I don't get my hopes up of anyone really testing the keeper from 20+ yards out, let alone bagging one. Don't get me wrong, I don't want anyone wasting opportunities and blasting balls into the away section either -- it's just not a strong part of squad's game right now
