Agree with FFS regarding Bellamy. Apart from having a history of being trouble his knees are knackered by his own admission.

According to the London Evening Standard we have lost out on Hoillet to the Krauts so we are in for Bellamy

Cerny berny didn't quite have the ability to make the grade on this board Sku! His attacking of other posters was his main strength but was weak on crosses (examination) and his defending him wide open for the counter attack! For what he lacked in natural ability he made up for with his bull shooting skills!

Interesting character Bellamy, comes across as a complete tosser but on the other hand we have the Craig Bellamy Foundation in Sierra Leone teaching kids to play football over there. www.craigbellamyfoundation.org
Apparently he flies over there regularly.

Thing is, he can still be a complete tosser, that heads up a very well thought out charity; the two don't have to be mutually exclusive.

Agree, we need a CB and i am getting slightly concerned that the only players we are linked to are midfielders and forwards.

I think there are a number of these midfielders/forwards looking to move or be moved and we're a convenient target either for lazy journos or agents trying to play up interest. I'll guarantee we sign a defender before the season starts...
