"Cowardly"? I don't think so - very foolish in these days of multiple camera coverage - absolutely definitely bloody yes.

Bellamy is up front and is no shrinking violet on the pitch or off it. The smack on the back of JDG's neck/head wasn't because he's a coward - he'd be more likely to do it in his face if he was that upset by something.

He tried to get away with something that might upset the player like Rangel has done in the past and again on Saturday kicking out at Zaha.

If Bellers gets a ban, he'll deserve it. There was no intent to injure De Guzman, just annoy him in the context of the game. Whatever, he was wrong to do it and we'll have to wait and see.

I don't think he gives a sh*t anymore , turned on his own last week and now this ,not good for their run in if he gets banned , he was the only one who seemed to care and that didn't last long but he was the difference for them yesterday other than that very poor they should have kept Odemwhinger . The famous pit bull looked like a candidate for liposuction more than an athlete .<whistle>

"Cowardly",perhaps not, although I can see why some would think so.But he was very sly and very devious.

To strike someone from behind in such a manner is indicative of a troubled individual, and he does have previous in these matters.

Bellamy is such a good footballer,it's a pity he behaves in such a manner.

Should he be banned? I think so,if only as a warning to others.

I would say it was more of a cheap shot from behind than cowardly. Dont know what he was thinking and in all fairness he was the only one who actually turned up on saturday and that includes their fans. If Mariner didnt see it they ca kiss goodbye to him for 3 games.

I'll always like Bellemy , he can get heated but thats what makes him a good player . That crossbar is probably still rattling, what a shot !

So,if he gets overheated, would that make him an even better player?

People with overheated personalities are better players , absolutely. I don't condone some of the things Bellemy does , but a lot of people purposely try to egg him on into the situation. Not saying thats what happened here , just saying in general.

He hasn't really got much of a case has he? The evidence is right there. We're not dealing with the FAW anymore are we? :cheesy:

Don't worry about it, if he gets banned he'll still be in the dressing room giving the pre-match talk with Vincent. <ok>

Someone's got to say something haven't they? Ole won't. :cheesy:

"People with overheated personalities are better players". I couldn't agree less with that.

    John Charles;Ivor Allchurch;Michael Laudrup;Bobby Charlton;Bobby Moore;I could go on.
None of these exhibited "overheated personalities",and all better players than Bellamy.

"but a lot of people purposefully try to egg him on..."

Well,if he wants to join the ranks of the "greats" he has to learn to smile and walk away.

    Just my opinion,of course.

It was as cowardly as the dig he gave to that Man U fan when already being held by 2 men. Let's face it, he knew what he was doing. <ok>

Maybe all the players you mention vetch would be even better with heated personalities, nobodies disputing that all those players are better than Bellamy , you missed the point.

We all have our own way of doing things, as the current leader would say.

What's your point again it went straight over my head like most things you say. :cheesy:
