What are the odds? In 1858, Robert Fallon was shot dead, an act of vengeance by those with whom he was playing poker. Fallon, they claimed, had won the $600 pot through cheating. With Fallonâs seat empty and none of the other players willing to take the now-unlucky $600, they found a new player to take Fallonâs place and staked him with the dead manâs $600. By the time the police had arrived to investigate the killing, the new player had turned the $600 into $2,200 in winnings. The police demanded the original $600 to pass on to Fallonâs next of kin â only to discover that the new player turned out to be Fallonâs son, who had not seen his father in seven years! This would have some people crying "Conspiracy" In the 19th century, the famous horror writer, Egdar Allan Poe, wrote a book called âThe narrative of Arthur Gordon Pymâ. It was about four survivors of a shipwreck who were in an open boat for many days before they decided to kill and eat the cabin boy whose name was Richard Parker. Some years later, in 1884, the yawl, Mignonette, foundered, with only four survivors, who were in an open boat for many days. Eventully the three senior members of the crew, killed and ate the cabin boy. The name of the cabin boy was Richard Parker. This is more like Synchronicity than coincidence In Monza, Italy, King Umberto I, went to a small restaurant for dinner, accompanied by his aide-de-camp, General Emilio Ponzia- Vaglia. When the owner took King Umbertoâs order, the King noticed that he and the restaurant owner were virtual doubles, in face and in build. Both men began discussing the striking resemblances between each other and found many more similarities. 1. Both men were born on the same day, of the same year, (March 14th, 1844). 2. Both men had been born in the same town. 3. Both men married a woman with same name, Margherita. 4. The restauranteur opened his restaurant on the same day that King Umberto was crowned King of Italy. 5. On the 29th July 1900, King Umberto was informed that the restauranteur had died that day in a mysterious shooting accident, and as he expressed his regret, he was then assassinated by an anarchist in the crowd. Comedic Irony In 1883, Henry Ziegland broke off a relationship with his girlfriend who, out of distress, committed suicide. The girlâs enraged brother hunted down Ziegland and shot him. Believing he had killed Ziegland, the brother then took his own life. In fact, however, Ziegland had not been killed. The bullet had only grazed his face, lodging into a tree. It was a narrow escape. Years later, Ziegland decided to cut down the same tree, which still had the bullet in it. The huge tree seemed so formidable that he decided to blow it up with dynamite. The explosion propelled the bullet into Zieglandâs head, killing him. Another conspiracy... except it wasn't In 1975, while riding a moped in Bermuda, a man was accidentally struck and killed by a taxi. One year later, this manâs bother was killed in the very same way. In fact, he was riding the very same moped. And to stretch the odds even further, he was struck by the very same taxi driven by the same driver â and even carrying the very same passenger! And another possible conspiracy....but again it wasn't The lives of Thomas Jefferson and John Adams, two of Americaâs founders. Jefferson crafted the Declaration of Independence, showing drafts of it to Adams, who (with Benjamin Franklin) helped to edit and hone it.The document was approved by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776. Surprisingly, both Jefferson and Adams died on the same day, July 4, 1826 â exactly 50 years from the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
no evidence that any of this actually happened myths I will say the same thing that I said to Mr Obama with regards Bin Laden "pics or it didnt happen nigga"
I dunno, I would imagine you would have to have some sort of grudge to kill two brothers with your taxi.
"NO" Evidence eddie? You sure? Here's one for starters http://www.nmmc.co.uk/images/uploads/The%20Mignonette1.pdf
No jacky, I just happen to belive that truth is stranger than fiction and that coincidences do happen, I know because I have had a few strange coincidence moments in my life.
yeah, I wont be reading that you have a ****ed up preception of the word conspiracy, every one who has ever read a paper or watched the news believes in conspiracy theories. the news tells you that 3 guys conspired to rob an off licence - conspiracy theory the news tells you that bin laden and al qaeda conspired to attack new york and washington - conspiracy theory questioning the blatant lies in a story - not a conspiracy theory
Would only be a conspiracy theory if there were insinutions that others conspired to cause the event but if the government and media deny it, it must be bull
Let's not be changing the subject eddie, you said there was "NO EVIDENCE" any of this happened, do you admit you were wrong? The "fact" is Adams and Jefferson did die on the same day (July 4) and was there caniballism reported on the Mignonette so you were wrong.
Like the mysterious SEAL team 6 who apparently took down Bin Laden that were mysteriously all killed in an insurgent operation that would appear to be outside the insurgent's military intellignence and equipment capabilities?
But your use of language is interesting and sound minor but make a big difference. You said there were only four survivors, like in the story, but in realty there was only ever 4 crew members on the yacht that sank. And the cabin boy was already in a coma for several days from drinking seas water, you dont mention this dissimilarity as well. Its not like they held him down and slit his throat
And do you have evidence of that Jacky? Real evidence, not some report from some nutjob conspiracy website. Only the very top brass in the US military and the President and his close confidantes know the names of the Seal team, so anyone can make any claims they like about who died and when, I could say I knew some of them and you could not prove me wrong.
