Yeah watched it during the week, im liking it, it's a bit made for yanks I suppose but it's better than I thought it would be. Rodgers pulling Shelvey aside and telling him he is a big part of his plan's is good to see.
It was interesting. I wish we would can the PR speach at the end each episode though. The rest was good.
Very good once again, BR is a big ol' cheeseball but I do like him. Needs more Gerrard though, I could watch the guy brew a cup of tea and be fascinated by him and I don't know why.
I feel the whole thing is a bit off putting for Brendan, he has to continually come up with soundbites for the show, I can't imagine him being like that when he is with the lads and the cameras are not there. John Henry (like the Red Sox in Ep 1) seemed to be quite awkward around the lads in front of the camera as well. it all seems a bit over-forced. on the whole its a good show though, I like the training sequences, I do kinda wish we'd had won at least 1 pre-season game though
Even though football players are always on camera when they play it is different when they are in front of camera for a interview even. It are the actors/actresses that look natural on camera (well most of them anyway)+ it takes a bit getting used to I think the program has been ok i've enjoyed it up to now
Have to say I wasn't impressed most of our players didn't know who John Henry was - and Adam slagged off the baseball match they had watched too. Would of been annoyed if i was Henry. I thought him and Werner came off well. Werner looked like he was really having fun. Hope we can turn around our form fast, because I really rate Rodgers, and I like the owners - I just wish they would show a bit vision. We to spend a bit to become successful and they can make money.
I thought this episode a bit less cringeworthy than the last. It's not strictly a fly-on-the-wall thing if the subjects are constantly addressing the camera and all the introduction business last week looked wooden. They're more natural on the training ground because, like in a game, they forget the cameras. I wonder why it's taking so long in post production though, seeing it featuring several players that aren't even here at the moment loses the immediacy of the thing for me.
