    So seeing as our tightfisted billionaire owners will only allow NW to sign free transfers, (and they still haven't explained why - presumably the price of wigs and raised shoes must have hit Bernie hard) Which players, currently available on a free, would you be happy to see us sign. I'll start with Nigel Reo Coker and Matthew Upson.

    what about gettin raheem sterling back for a year on loan?

    i'm sure it's only a matter of time before he breaks into liverpool side. especially after performances like against southend in FA youth cup final.

    Just out of interest...........does anyone know if there was anything in his contract giving us first preference if liverpool were ever to loan him out?

    I doubt it.......but just wondering

    Would we really want him? He's still so young and hasn't had a great deal of experience in first team football.... none as far as I can remember.

    The Cruise lad that was released from Arsenal. Played a champions League game last season IIRC. Looked pretty good too.

    I did mention this the other day, but don't forget that we have a technical partnership with Real Madrid so we should be getting some of their squad players now we are in the prem. Unless that was another lie of course!!
