Moyes was so thrilled with Beckford he offered to take him to Leicester when he was wanted by Sven.He didn't do anything there so they loaned him to Brum again useless so then they loaned him to Town and because as I have said Grayson seems to get the best out of him it worked when he felt up to it which even at Town was spasmodic at best So Bolton took up the cudgel and again nothing so Simon loaned him yet again and it worked so if I were him stick to Simon I was told from a good source he was on 40k of which Town paid 17k
Fair play to Grayson for getting the best out of him really. He'll manage a prem team at some point. No doubt he'll **** it up but he has a Championship promotion in him.
Again, I have said many times I'm not saying we should sign him, he is in his 30s now. I do however think he is better than pretty much every striker we have at the club currently.
A lot of people say he's a pace merchant as well and he isn't. He's a sporny bastard but he isn't a pace merchant.
Jermaine Beckford never went to Birmingham, ever. I'm about 90% sure he was on 27k a week at Leicester, no idea how much Udders were paying of that but those are stupid wages for the championship especially a few years ago.
He might of being wrong about Birmingham but he did use the word spasmodic - so you know, swings and that.
In just seven words Mike has to right another letter. Wouldn't it just be easier and quicker to check facts before posting bollocks.
Josh you are quite correct about Beckford not going to Brum I thought he did before going on loan to Town I know he was payed 17k at Town with the rest being paid by Leicester. The old gray matter some times lets me down but not frequently
