City striker Jermaine Beckford joins Huddersfield Town on loan until 29 December. More to follow. No real surprise!

good luck to the lad.... going to a poor mans leeds... but they looked good the other night..hope grayson can find in him what we never could....just listening to the the guitar riff from summer breeze by the Isley bros ...perfic evening...
i think its a bad move for us. is vardy really better than becks and nugent? All i know is i prefer yakubu to all
Yak didn't run around enough to be liked by our fans and pundits - I think we should get Hume back! Who's with me?
Whatever anyones view on Beckford, this move is the best option for Leicester - Nigel is the manager and Beckford just doesn't fit into his plans, not even to the point of getting a place on the bench or training with the squad - He just isn't Nigels type of player and we can't argue that Nigel didn't try with him, he was given plenty of chances - Best move him on
Nigel wants workers like Nugent, Vardy and Waghorn Now Beckford has gone there won't be a divide in the squad
Waggy doesn't have the attitude and ego like Beckford. Waggy's wages will be a lot cheaper Waghorn offers something to the team unlike Beckford
Beckford is a quality player, it just depends on whether you want the team set-up in a way he can work in. He isn't very adaptive so you have to take that into account. Grayson knows him reasonably well so if he can get him working then he will score a lot of goals for him. The issue is, Beckford works very well when there is a creative player playing through balls constantly (we had Snodgrass) and im not sure hudders have that, clayton is probably the closest they do have and he's probably not good enough
@StringerSport Point of note, Beckford's on 49 aps for #lcfc - wonder whether there's a payment to Everton if he reached 50 hence loan. Stab in the dark
