Just as you selling Gradel and we make a tidy sum from the deal in sell on fees we have had a 4M bid accepted for Jermaine Beckford.

    Yawn, your point being?

if you go up, you go up?

focus on your own team and with your own fans rather than trying to wind ours up.

    You just look pathetic.

He'd be a great signing for any club in this league. However, you haven't signed him yet.

No offence Proud, but it looked to me like you were wumming.

I'm sure most of us are keeping an eye on transfer stuff too so we could see it for ourselves.

if you get him, fair enough. See how he performs in the Championship :)

Pags, if Beckford were to drop down a division & play for a little club in the Midlands as opposed to a biggish PL club where he might better himself he will score a hatful. Personally, I'll believe him signing for Leicester when he actually takes the field.

Didn't see much of Beckford at Everton but as soon as he left the Whites, we scored loads more goals than when he was in the team. Having a striker like him sucks the goals out of the midfield as they're forced to provide rather than go for goal. Better to have someone both selfless and selfish like Becchio who works hard and plunders his fair share of goals. I know this won't be a popular opinion particularly: "typical Leeds fan valuing a workhorse over a classy finisher".

Oh and congratulations on the 25% fee. I know Leicester are in dire need of money at the moment so it will go a long way. <cry>

Honestly I would rather him go to you than come back to Leeds caused too much unrest between fans and players

<laugh> You should change that picture of yours from an apple to a lemon, bitter is an understatement.

All Leeds fans went mental when he left, but nope. Turns out he;s ****.

Just like Kasper was and I bet Gradel woudl have been the game if he had come to us. It would have been something along the lines of 'Gradel's temper gets in the way of his football and we never rated him'.

    You're all the same.

That's a rare one-liner from you which actually made sense. Bravo.

That's rather the point I was making. We all wanted him to stay at the time when we didn't know what a team without him would be like, but then as soon as last season started we were whacking in the goals. Scored way more than with him in the team, as we do when we don't play Davide Somma for instance. Can't argue with the facts now, can you? You'll probably find some way of doing it.

I've been a critic of Kasper's long since before he was even mentioned as being linked away from Leeds. It was something of a running joke on here between me and Moltisanti that I was something of a Kasper hater. So it's hardly that my view has been swayed by his move away and some need to convince myself of something I didn't already believe.

No. It would have been the same reaction as now. Fury. Even more so if it was a divisional rival in Leicester whom we sold him to.

    Mmm.

Will be very interesting, I have a feeling Beckford will turn down the chance of a move, his head is too large to come down a division to Leicester. If it had been West Ham maybe but not Leicester, could be wrong but I don't really care. Leicester have the money to burn, they should be walking out of this division by a mile, if they don't many people will be pissing their pants with laughter.

Wouldn't have put it quite that way Ristac, but I get your point. If it does happen, I sincerely hope he gets a genuinely good reception at Leeds.

Ahh can you imagine it, Leeds 4-3 up (unless we sign some defenders ;)) and Beckford misses a penalty in the final minutes...
