http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18024475 Seen he has been released by Brentford after many years service. From what i can gather many people are a bit shocked by this decision and I think when the new manger should try and sign him up in the summer. Could solve the midfield problem we seem to now have after the release of both Spiller and Weston. Thoughts?
Could be a decent acquisition, but depends on both budget and what kind of player the new boss will want to bring in. Hold the phone - I remember Marcus Bean from his QPR days. Scored a goal with his hand that effectively relegated us. Okay, he's a no go! EDIT - Seen Sam Wood has also been released. Competent left sided player, can play at either full back or left midfield. Former Bromley boy and local too. Could be a good shout.
