I feel sick. This is utterly devastating. I’d never stand in the way of an opportunity for Beale himself but this will kill the players. They will be so demotivated that I can see us entering free fall. The World Cup break can’t come quick enough. AD3C5FC2-A36E-478E-A059-8828F98A8FCA.jpeg

Very disappointing if true. I wish Wolves nothing but losses.

As far as I understand, Beale hasn't agreed it yet.

imo, he's making a silly mistake. If he goes to Wolves and it doesn't work out, he may hinder his career. If he stays and has a good season with us, people will note that his first season as full head coach is going well. Having to take over a club mid-season is never easy and he'll have his work cut out for him at Wolves.

But perhaps it's just the money he's following, with no other rationale?

I agree - but on the flipside, if he digs Wolves out of a hole and they end up mid table, he'll raise his stock immeasureably. Not only that but i bet he's negotiated double the salary. Although i'm absolutely gutted that he's going, i can't really blame him - he's profiting on his (limited) success with us and just imagine that he turns it down and then we fall away in Jan/Feb ourselves (like last season) and his stock is devalued somewhat. Cash in now?

I guess cash now. But there is still something to be said for staying at the club where things are going well, if you're trying to build a relatively new career, rather than going to an unknown club where you don't know how things will pan out.

Not even their first, second or third choice. He should feel really flattered by that.
