    Ah but which Dickie Davis. The one on TV in the 60's and 70's or the Sunderland forward of the 40's and 50's? Or maybe both of them.

    A bit before my time as well. that is where the All The Lads book comes in handy. At least for the players up to the 1999/2000 season when the book was published.
