Here's our entry on the BBC News Football Website - take a look at the squad details - it's quite scary how far off the pace they are. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/charlton_athletic/default.stm When 606 went down, did all the football specialists who weren't fixated on the Prem go down with it?
Not a surprise really Tewks. If we were based around Salford Quays, Cardiff or one of the other locations that the BBC waste our money on moving their staff to we would have every attention. South East London is unfortunately "so not pc" for the luvvie Beeb that we wont get a look in unless we had the media connections of the Nigels. We have to accept that SE7 is not a fashionable place for the people retained by the Beeb to cover. I may complain about Murdoch a lot (and have been justified) but at least his empire understands which the biggest supported club is in South East London and trys to keep up to date with what goes on. Call me an old fashioned Benthamite, but the beeb has lost the greatest good of the greatest number approach that it once had.
