Saw it last night. Has been panned by the critics. And has divided public opinion For me it was a game of two halves. The first half was an absolute mess, completely all over the place where no scenes fit together at all and threatened to detail the whole movie. The second half, when it got to what it was said to be about was actually rather good. A shame as it could quite easily have been a great movie if they'd sat down and sorted the build up story a bit better. All the performances are good and Ben Affleck makes a good Batman and a great Bruce Wayne. Anyone who criticises his role is just doing it for the sake of it imo. Anyone else seen it? What did you think?
The Dark Knight Trilogy is one of my favourites - especially the second film. I'm going to find it hard to appreciate Ben Affleck as batman. Added to that I've never been that bothered about Superman so I'm personally not in a hurry to see it.
Surely superman can knack batman. Batman is only a bloke dressed up for a gay club cruising for Freddie Mercury lookalikes in his gay mobile. Whereas superman is git hard and he can fly and de loads a stuff. Seems a mismatch to me.
Zack Snyder (the director) hasn't made a good film since 300, which was ages ago. I tried watching the Superman film he made, Man of Steel I think it was called, but it was absolute crap. I'd had enough of it after halfway and couldn't watch the rest which is very rare for me. I don't plan on watching this new one. There's too many superhero films and tv shows as it is so I've got no time or desire to sit through a bad film and by most accounts this one is terrible.
Exactly this. No contest surely? A gajee with superhuman powers, invulnerable vs a bloke in a gimp outfit with a few gadgets. How long is the film, 3 minutes? And 2 of those for supermans victory dance?
That's why every Superman film seems to have him unable to use his powers, otherwise he could just solve every problem with a Superfart.
I've seen it and loved it. Superman could easily beat batman but batman had a trick up his sleeve and they end up on the same side. Great film but not a patch on the Dark Knight trilogy.
