It's a shame Roy Keane wasn't at United at the same time as Moyes, I wonder if Moyes would have shown him a video of Gareth Barry.

No one knows the facts about what happened but why can't we all just accept his reasons at face value? If they are 'personal reasons' then they've clearly been kept quiet because he doesn't want the entire world knowing about them. You assume that he asked to leave for personal or financial gain but for all you know he may have asked to join a club closer to London but been willing to walk away from football altogether if that wasn't possible. What good will booing do? Other than erode any remaining good will he has towards the club/fans.

Not harsh imo. Rodwell man marked the goal scorer all game and a was all over the shop. I'm one of the ones who've seen an improvement from Rodwell this season so he aint no scapegoat. Allen was Rodders man but Allen had his pants down all game.

Make me feel better booing him - I don;t think he left for financial gain TBH - I think he wanted to go back to London - if his personal reasons were down to his kid being in hospital, I reckon we'd have known for certain about it by now - I'm speculating but I truly think it's because he missed the South. I also maintain that he'd have been perfectly happy up here on £150k a week

Will you please stop posting things like this - we've had arguments in the past and some pretty bad ones too - but, right at this moment, I can;t find anything to argue with you about!!

Fair enough about general play but not the 2nd goal - that's not down to Rodders. ; picking a man up on the edge of the box is someone else's job on set pieces - in this instance, Billy Jones.

How do you know Moyes told Rodders to forget his man if he takes up a different position? Rodwell marked him for set pieces the rest of the game. He was clearly deployed to man mark Allan, so he should have been doing that. not drifting off doing other things. What happens when he's not marking his man is other players are put in a difficult position of having to choose whether to leave their role to pick up the un marked man. There's no right or wrong decision for other players to make, the damage has been done. Everything else is a gamble and hope for the best.

Not sure why Jones is getting flak. Rodwell marked Ndongs man and Ndong was the closet man to Allen as a result. But the confusion was already there at there before the corner was taken. Poor organisation from one person not picking up his correct marker imo.

But that's just it, you're speculating. You have no evidence to support your theory so booing a man who has potentially moved for the good of his family or his marriage just to make yourself feel better is hardly fair.
