Put your tits back in BT, one of the guys is at work and can't be seen to have rude girls up on his monitor.

  2. How the **** can you say that about Ben Arfa after 1 game with us?

I personally think he's been way, way overhyped and everyone expects him to be a revolution in the squad. I think he'll add more creativity and sting to our attack, but i'm certainly not putting my house on him to be amazing.

He scored a cracking goal but i wasn't creaming myself when i saw him play vs Everton. He played some loverly through balls and passes, and i thought he was great, but i wasn't in disbelief at how good he was watching him play.

And anyway, we have to hope he'll recover properly from his injury.

I'm not basing my opinion of BA on one game against Everton, although my assessment of him in that game was that he was exceptional. His vision, control and running with the ball were amazing and his overall shift well beyond anything I have ever seen from Nolan, or ever will. Yes my statement about BA in the previous post was hyperbole but the basic point I stick too. Ben Arfa is far more creative and technical than Nolan. I'm not going to argue this point with you at length because if you can't see this already then there is nothing I can say that will change your mind.

OK, that's enough. Let me explain...

Kevin Nolan is a very good finisher, has a very good footballing brain, works hard for the team, makes clever runs, has good determination, strength, he's a good grafter & a very good fighter. He leads by example with the captain's armband, his leadership skills are brilliant & is a inspirational figure in the dressing room.

Now to his negatives/weaknesses. He lacks stamina and LACKS TECHNICAL ABILITY such as dribbling ability, pace, technique, passing ability, vision and control. He's defensive play isn't the best & his box-to-box ability just isn't there. To be honest his overall CM ability is average.

If what tash is claiming about Nolan was true, he'd be a complete midfielder, probably playing in the top 4/Liverpool.

Nolan can go back to Bolton, after all you can tell he wanted to go back the moment he gave us that first penalty (handball) in that 5-1 win at the Reebok.

But then saying that, he did score your only goal in the 1-1 draw at your ground.

Have any of you see this pathetic Liverpool fan on about how Joey Barton should join Liverpool?

Why did he leave you back in 09' Jan? When we signed him back then, many fans thought he was average at best & looked how it turned out. He's been absolutely fantastic since we got relegated! <ok>

My understanding is he went off the boil for a couple of seasons and the move probably came at a good time and rejuvenated him. Left on good terms though, got a decent reception if I recall correctly.

Ah maybe that's what we needed, relegation. If he stayed for another year, we were bottom of the table at Christmas. He was good at Bolton, just dropped under Megson as did many players. Good signing by you lot though.

This. Brilliant finisher. Actually plays the Lampard role picking up the scraps in the box and scoring. And he is a good fighter, always gives his all!

BUT, his all isn't enough all the time. He is slow. He can't last 90 mins without nearly throwing up. He isn't a brilliant passer. His vision is not the best. He can't tackle that well.

Tash you describe him as if he is Gerrard in his prime.

He is decent, but the other midfielders carry him.

And sort your profile pic out!

I think once we have officially signed Gervinho, Gameiro, Cabaye and N' Zogbia they will both sign
