    I'm surprised that they think it quite likely he will leave before his contract is up.
    Have they not read his twitter or seen his dedication to the club?

    For a second i thought they'd given Barton a Guardian column! (cos of the title)

    I think this pretty much perfectly sums up why a new contract has to be offered to Barton. Yes he can be a bit of a tit on Twitter and but his foot in it a bit, but i'd honestly rather have players like him at the club who actually give a **** and will always give 100% all game than people who can drift in and out of games like Adam!

    And just before anyone assumes Williamson is being sold because of him missing the US trip, its apparently because his baby is due very soon.

    Seems pretty obvious from that though that Perch, Xisco and Routledge are goners.

    Hopefully get to see Kadar and Tav play in the US.

    Agh, Smith is going to the US, doubt he will be sold then. His wages will be too high for any none PL club, and all PL clubs won't want him.

    I agree however Routledge retweeted this. Supposing that he wasn't being sarcastic, he clearly wasn't that bothered by it.
