@RobAdcock Rob Adcock #SCFC chairman Peter Coates confirms that the club were interested in signing Joey Barton Crouch has been linked for a while and Coates himself said we had bid for Palacios and Crouch. I asked one of the top football journos on Twitter about the Crouch deal and this is what he said: A lot of deals will. You are well down road with Crouch and Palacios. You need it boxed off fast now. When I asked if there were any other clubs offering Crouch the deal we are, he said this: We will soon find out. But I doubt it. Qpr have a line in but couldn't pay fee and wages. All yours I think
