A decent #2 to AW and a coach to teach our wide forwards to cross better so that we can eventually see the best of Chamakh when playing in position. I am a little peed off that Theo is still struggling to the extent that his crosses are about as useful as Bale's. If there is an empty space in the box, they will find it with 95% of their crosses

Don't think Dempsey would be a bargain buy, as apparently Fuhlam turned down a £10m bid from AC Milan in summer. He has since then, hit what, like 16 goals in all competitions as an attacking midfield player. He'll cost a good chunk of change unless he has a buyout clause.
I don't any of the players mentioned excluding Messi are good enough for Arsenal. Hoilett is a speed merchant and while I do rate Dempsey, his technique linking up the play is poor, one of the reasons Defoe hasn't cemented a place in the England and Spurs teams are this very reason because he bangs in goals consistently.
I'd take Dempsey, he's got drive and passion which (two games this season apart) I think have been lacking from 95% of our team. I also think he's a very good player who'd bust his nuts every match. He may not have the technical ability of some but he's certainly not bad and his versatility would more than make up for that.
His versatility is the key for me. With our 1 up front system we badly need players who can plauy up top or wide. Otherwise they end up never playing like chamakh or bendy
He certainly knows how to put the ball ijn the back of the net, makes you think, if he can do it for Fulham each year, he'd get bucket loads at Arsenal.
